Any work needed would be still be carried out, but by someone sent to you by the insurance company and completely FOC. Just keep the original invoice and the IBG together.

Just so you know, Acorn Glass and Glazing® is not a member of any self-regulatory organisation such as FENSA or CERTASS where only around 1% of installations are checked for compliance to Building Regulations. As a reputable glazing business established over 20 years, we believe this is totally unsatisfactory. All the replacement window and door installations we fit fully conform to current Building Regulations. When the work is completed, and it needs Building Regulations compliance certification, we will contact the local authority Building Control department on your behalf and arrange for an inspection and certificate by them.
You will then have a Local Authority Building Regulation Certificate, not a piece of paper that may, or may not, truthfully certify compliance of the installation.
PLEASE NOTE: This certification only applies to new door and windows. It does not apply to any form of replacement glazing work.
